Description

Your Child’s Way: A Personality- Based Parenting Workshop

A Scientific Approach to Understanding Your Child’s Emotional Patterns to Parent with Clarity, Compassion and Connection.

In this presentation, Dr. Siegel will present a brand-new, science-based framework for parenting, developed with over 20 years of research. The workshop will explore the transformative insights of the Patterns of Developmental Pathways (PDP) approach introduced in Dr. Siegel’s new book; Personality and Wholeness in Therapy.

By understanding the nine patterns of personality development and how they emerge from temperament and are intensified by attachment relationships, parents can move beyond behavioral challenges and deepen their connection with their children. Dr. Siegel will explain how nurturing these pathways in parenting not only fosters growth and resilience in kids but also helps us find balance, integration, and wholeness within ourselves.

This workshop will help parents:

  • Understand the PDP Framework: Gain a clear understanding of the nine Patterns of Developmental Pathways (PDP) and how they form from temperament and shape personality and behavior.
  • Apply Developmental Insights to Parenting: Learn practical strategies to recognize and support their child’s unique developmental pathways, fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and connection.
  • Strengthen Parent-Child Relationships: Walk away with tools to nurture deeper, more meaningful connections with their child.
  • Foster Personal Growth as a Parent: Explore how the PDP approach can help one grow as a parent, enabling them to respond to challenges with greater clarity and compassion.
